The short version

Today You Are is operated by RMB Ventures and does not require an account. We use one anonymous cookie to remember your daily card across visits. We do not collect your name, email, or any personally identifiable information unless you voluntarily provide it.

What we collect

Anonymous session cookie — a random ID (no personal data) stored for 1 year. This lets us show you the same daily card if you come back the same day, and keep your archive of past cards.
Analytics events — anonymous interaction data (which pages you visit, whether you complete a card). No personal data is attached.
Ad impression data — whether ad placeholders were visible on your screen. No personal data is attached.

What we don't collect

Your name, email, or contact details (unless you sign up for our newsletter — coming soon)
Your IP address stored in association with your identity
Any sensitive personal data

Cookies

We use one functional cookie: tya_anon_id. It contains a randomly generated ID and no personal information. It expires after 1 year.

Your journal entries are saved only in your browser's local storage and never sent to our servers.

Advertising

Today You Are is ad-supported. We display advertising placeholders and, in future, real ads through ad networks. Ad networks may use their own cookies to serve relevant ads. We do not share your anonymous session ID with ad networks.

Your rights

You can clear your anonymous session at any time by clearing your browser cookies. Your archive of past cards will be reset. No other action is needed — we do not hold personally identifiable data to delete.
